Kerri is a psychologist who will be completing her supervised practice with the College of Psychologists of Ontario at our clinic. Kerri will be receiving her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Memorial University, Newfoundland in October. Kerri extensively trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy as well as other evidence-based interventions to psychotherapy. She has worked in multiple community mental health and hospital settings and completed her predoctoral internship at the Nova Scotia Capital District Mental Health Internship in Clinical Psychology in the Borderline Personality Disorder and Eating Disorders Programs. Kerri is passionate about treating adults and adolescents with Borderline Personality Disorder, eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, substance abuse, and trauma. Apart from her clinical work, Kerri is actively engaged in research investigating how shame and self-compassion relate to behaviour change.
