Kerri is a psychologist in supervised practice registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Kerri received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Memorial University, Newfoundland. Kerri extensively trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy as well as other evidence-based interventions to psychotherapy. She has worked in multiple community mental health and hospital settings and completed her predoctoral internship at the Nova Scotia Capital District Mental Health Internship in Clinical Psychology in the Borderline Personality Disorder and Eating Disorders Programs. Kerri is passionate about treating adults and adolescents with Borderline Personality Disorder, eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, substance abuse, and trauma. Apart from her clinical work, Kerri is actively engaged in research investigating how shame and self-compassion relate to behaviour change.
