Stephanie is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She completed her Master of Social Work specializing in Mental Health and Health at the University of Toronto. Stephanie has several years of experience working in various hospital settings, emergency departments, adherent DBT clinics, and various community based-agencies. Much of her experience is from working in acute-care settings, where she gained extensive experience working with suicidal and self-injurious behaviours, difficulties with mood and anxiety, disordered eating, addiction, trauma, and impulsive and psychotic behaviours.
Stephanie is very passionate about and interested in the psychological development of individuals, and recognizes the importance of mental health and wellness throughout all developmental stages. She has used an eclectic therapy approach to support individual development and has experience facilitating evidence-based treatments, including but not limited to, DBT, CBT, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, and Cognitive Processing therapy.
In her spare time Stephanie enjoys spending time outdoors, travelling, cooking, playing sports, reading, practising yoga and exercising.
